Day 16 – favourite book turned into a movie

Most definitely The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Most of the time, the movie does not do the book justice. Stephen Chbosky wrote Perks in 1999 and then a decade later wrote the screenplay and directed the movie. This is obviously why the movie is so true to the book. And so great. Not only is it, what I believe to be the best movie adaptation of a book, I think it’s one of the best movies this year.
